Formation

We have three formation programmes presently in the Congregation. In 2002 the four countries of Africa formed a continental novitiate to form young women for the future. Although there are less women entering in Ireland we do have young women in the initial and ongoing stages of formation. In Peru we have many young women interested in Mercy and all the Mercy congregations working in Peru collaborate in the formation process.

Spirituality

Spirituality and spiritual development is a key area of interest and ministry involvement for many sisters. Some sisters are in formal settings such as retreat centres and school catechetical programmes while others work in collaboration with parishes, women's groups and many other groups in the community.

Cosmology

Care of the earth and issues relating to our planet are of great concern to us and each of our Provinces endeavours to create awareness of these issues among the whole Mercy community and wider community.
