Nga mihi aroha kia koutou katoa

Greetings of love to our sisters and companions in Mercy mission

E te Atua Atawhai, God of unending mercies, we lift up our voices with all who are willing to share their gifts to enrich other lives. Bless us as we seek to strengthen one another as witnesses of hope to a broken world. In the face of oppression and despair, empower us to bring justice and hope.

Kia ora!

Happy Mercy Day

from Srs. Bernard, Brendan, Eileen, Genny and Claire.

The Sisters in 5 Headfort Road, Kells, Co. Meath. / Ireland

Blessings to all Women & Men within the world of Mercy,

May this Mercy Day fill you with the joy and peace that is ours
witnessing to Mercy in every corner of the world, especially to those
places where life and freedom is a constant struggle. May we continue in
prayer and community to appreciate each day and realize the small gifts
that are ours without any work. Catherine has a great 'crew' so be proud
of all you do!

You are in my prayers,
Joan Lauriente, Associate,
Burlingame, California / America

Love and blessings to all in our Mercy family as we celebrate Our Lady of Mercy Day. Prayers for those who are unwell or suffering in any hardship.

Chris Marsh rsm

Mercy E-News of 13 September reminded us that on 8 September 1830 Catherine McAuley, Anna Maria Doyle and Elizabeth Harley left the House of Mercy on Baggott St and crossed Dublin to begin their religious training with the Presentation Sisters at George's Hill Convent - 175 years ago!

On the Feast of Our Lady of Mercy 2005 we give thanks for Catherine and our early Sisters as we 'Mercies' from all around the world celebrate our feast. We greet one another in love and rejoice that we are able to work in our world with Catherine's Spirit in our hearts and inspired by Jesus Son of God, through the Gospels and in our hearts and his Mother Mary, Mother of God and Mother of Mercy!

Happy Mercy Day to all!

The Townsville Sisters of Mercy, Queensland / Australia.

May the Woman of Mercy inspire and bless all Sisters, Associates and friends in ministry as we celebrate our special day.

Mercy Day greetings from Barbara Bolster and the Grafton Mercies / Australia

Dear Sisters, associates, co-ministers, companions, friends, benefactors, Mercy Volunteer Core members, and all others part of the Mercy Family:

A most blessed Mercy Day to each of you, as I pray with Catherine, that you be animated by the very Spirit of God, and true to the movement of that Spirit within and about you.

Loving affection,

Tina Geiger, rsm - Now a student of art and spirituality in Erie, PA / USA

May all the Mercies enjoy a happy and holy day on the 24 September 2005 and may mercy abound around each one of you. Do remember to pray for peace.

Joan Mary Farnham rsm.

May the blessing of Our Lady of Mercy be with each one of our Sisters, Associates and Companions! Let us pray for more to join us in our vocation to Mercy and may each of us keep Catherine's legacy of Mercy alive in our hearts and ministry.

We pray especially for all victims and our Sisters in Louisiana and Mississippi who have suffered losses in hurricane Katrina and for those families who are displaced and/or have lost everything.

Ruth Mulligan, rsm.

(Merion, PA) Bucks County / USA

Greetings and prayer to all Mercy Sisters and Associates throughout the world as we celebrate Mercy Day. Support to those sisters living in oppressive situations and may justice bring freedom and hope for all is my prayerful wish.

Love and best wishes
Nance Cale rsm Wilcannia Forbes / Australia
