Mercy Greetings on this special day.

Our school, St Andrew's at Malabar in New South Wales Australia was begun many years ago by the Mercy Sisters from Wilcannia. Even though, it is many years since we had sisters at our school, we have incorporated the Mercy Cross into our crest and are embarking on a real crusade to make Mother Catherine known to our students.Special greetings to all the Sisters who once taught at our school and to Mercy Sisters everywhere.

I want to wish all Sisters of Mercy world wide but especially those who may remember me, a very happy peaceful and holy Feast day on 24th September. I will be praying with you and for you.

Love, Rosemary McCloskey

Mercy Greeting, September 24 2005

As we reach out in Mercy in our ‘own place’ at this, our ‘own time’…

may we experience the Mercy blessing of our oneness of mind and heart…

one in response to the Gospel call one in living Catherine’s legacy.

From Nerida Tinkler, Caroline Ryan, Karon Donnellon and all at the National Centre at Lewisham / Australia

As our world continues to not be at peace because of war, the Aids crisis, famine, poverty and natural disasters, we invite you all to celebrate the gift of God's mercy to us and to the wonderful legacy of Mercy that we share, thanks to Catherine McAuley.

May each one of you be filled with peace and may we together bring a little bit of peace into our fragile world.

May God's blessings be on each one of you and on those with whom you minister. Happy Mercy Day!
