To all Sisters of Mercy throughout the world. May Mercy Day be a day of many blessings and much joy to you all, especially you whom I have met in Baggot Street or Catherine McAuley Centre, Herbert Street over the past few years. Let us be united in love and prayer.

Joan McManus rsm, Ireland

As we celebrate this special Feast of Mercy, may we unite in offering our love, hope and joy to each other and the world. May the flicker of our candles unite and become a bright light of peace encircling the earth. May this year of Jubilee of 175 years honour all Mercy women.

Greetings from Perth Congregation (Australia)

Greetings to all our Sisters for a blessed celebration of Mercy Day on September 24th. May Mary, the Mother of Mercy, obtain for us all a share in the compassion of her Divine Son so that we may present it to all around us in today’s world.

With love from the Sisters of Westbourne, Ashbourne Avenue, Limerick, Ireland.

Greetings and blessings as we all joint in celebrating our wonderful Feast with our Lady of Mercy on September 24th. May this 175th anniversary of our Foundation be a truly joyful and great celebration and an occasion of grace for each Mercy Sister and Associate throughout the five continents.

Love from Kathleen in Edinburgh

This year we celebrate 170 years of Mercy presence here in the town. May we all continue to follow in the footsteps of Catherine ‘putting our whole confidence in God’. It is a special joy to connect with Mercy worldwide. You are all welcome to visit, and we look forward to sharing a ‘comfortable cup of tea’ with you!

Mercy Day Greetings from the Provincial heritage Centre, Charleville, Co. Cork, Ireland.

Joyful greetings to all Mercies throughout the world as we celebrate the feast of Our Lady of Mercy in 2006. May we, like Catherine, ‘meet the great challenges of the 21st century with an unflagging faith that finds it expression in an immense peace and a playful lightheartedness’!
