"Mary, you are a woman wrapped in silence and yet the Word born of your 'yes' continues to bring life to all creation.
Help us too, Mary, to say 'yes' - to be bearers of good news and peace to a world waiting."
May the mystery of the Incarnation be a source of deep joy and celebration for you during this Christmas season.

As we search the night sky for the Star that will lead us to peace and harmony on Earth, let us fondly remember one another and all the peoples of the world.
Then let us go forward seeking mercy and justice, carrying the gifts we have to bring,
confident that our journey will bring its own blessing
and we shall find the Promised One at last.
Sisters of Mercy of the Americas

Greetings from Mercy Global Concern at the United Nations.
Today it is time to look for signs of God but not in the beautiful images of our mangers.
We have to look for God among malnourished children who will go to bed tonight without having had anything to eat, among the homeless and the refugees who flood our cities and streets.
In Bethlehem a baby’s cry shattered barriers and men and women of every creed gaze in wonder, finding every face luminous with godliness!

May the wonder of that first Christmas,
the joy of God’s abundant blessings,
and the peace of Jesus’ presence
be with you this Christmas and always.
You wil be remembered in our prayers
In Catherine’s House in Baggot Street.

We have within us a growing place,
an eternal space that exists for Truth,
where the love of God overcomes us,
where the life of God fills us,
the Emmanuel space where we conceive
and become pregnant of the Holy One
and day by day, give birth
to Christ in the world.
