Greetings and blessing to all our Mercy friends from the faculty and students of Red Bank Catholic High School in Red Bank, New Jersey, USA.
We are a coeducational institute steeped in the Mercy tradition and proud to carry on this tradition into the future.
May Our Lady of Mercy continue to empower all of us in our mission and may the life of Catherine McAuley serve to guide us in the many tasks we undertake.

Mercy Day is a wonderful celebration for the great group of women still following in the footsteps of Mother McAuley. Congratulations to the Mercy Sisters, Associates and Companions of Mercy all over the world.

Happy Mercy Day 2007! OSMercy is a small, interstate group of young people concerned for social justice in that great Catherine McAuley tradition, working with the Sisters of Mercy. As we celebrate with the Mercy community around the world this special Feast Day, we would like to recognise you all and the inspiration that you provide our group in Australia everyday through your humble example. Thankyou and happy Mercy Day!

This is a first! Am delighted to connect with Mercy SO BROADLY this Mercy Day. Just want to say what a sheer gift it is for me personally to have been called to Mercy. Equally, it is providential to be Mercy with all of you, at this particular period in history. I cherish the poignantly human, wonderfully feminine charism that Catherine birthed, into which we’ve all been invited. It fleshes out the Gospel for today so naturally. I presently am involved in a spiritual ministry with persons infected/affected with HIV/AIDS, and I thoroughly have a visceral understanding why Jesus chose to reach out to people on the edges, and why Catherine so clearly saw the mutuality of need in connecting the ‘rich’ with the ‘poor’. It is ‘God’s economy’, challenging/satisfying/healing all at once. Am sure each of you have similar experiences on your own journeys. I count on us to continue to seek to be steeped in Mercy and in Gospel, here in our own time, with new commitment, tenderness, and passion. Happiest Mercy Day to one and all, and how our dear world hungers for mercy, in the truest sense of the word.
Blessings abound. Peace.
