Greetings for Mercy Day to all Mercy Sisters, Associates and Colleagues all over the world.
From the Western Province, Ireland

Having so recently visited Argentina (May/June), I am filled with the stretch and the joy of my encounter with some RSM's of South America. It was a wonderful immersion experience there and made me so proud of the great work with/for the poor. My cup of gratitude overflows for the Sisters, Associates, Colleagues of Mercy I met. They touched me deeply. This Mercy Day has the added jewel of my new and recent memory and I am so blessed to be part of the followers of Catherine around the globe. May we all be the best peacemakers and peacekeepers we can be in Catherine's name and memory.
Blessed and peace-filled Mercy Day Greetings to All who read this......

Warm Feast Day greetings and prayers for all members of the Mercy Family on our Special Day.

Blessings on you for Mercy Day from a breezy hot Zambia.
Life is pushing forth in our beautiful Jacaranda trees as the energy rises to create bud and flower.
There are hopeful signs all around us...people are building small houses in preparation for the rains. Since a pocket (bag ) of cement is costing K60,000 /€12 ,it is difficult for the poor to make a home. Yet we pray these rains will come late October/ early November. We sure will dance then for rain is life !
The AIDS pandemic is still causing much grief despite the great efforts made at all levels to sustain the family unit as long as possible.
Here is Zambia we are hopeful too that our Mercy Formation Programme will continue to grow if slowly slowly.
Let us pray for each other on this Mercy Day.
May Catherine's spirit fill us with hope and grace.
Happy Mercy Day!

Zambian Region
