Everything we know today as Mercy was born from a single gift − when William Callaghan bequeathed his estate to Catherine McAuley, our foundress in 1822, enabling Catherine to build the First House of Mercy in Baggot Street Dublin, known today as Mercy International Centre.
Your gift today will help keep alive the works of Mercy.
Join us in our mission, flourishing for over 190 years. Support our work at the United Nations, at Mercy International Centre, and in over 40 countries worldwide, addressing:
Degradation of Earth | Displacement of Persons |
---|---|
Environmental Devastation | Human Trafficking |
Fracking | Dementia |
Garbage/Pollution | Homelessness |
Sustainable Living | Poverty |
Water | Refugees & Asylum Seekers |
Violence/Domestic Violence |
Friends, partners, and stakeholders of the Mercy mission are invited to participate in building an endowment to secure the future of Mercy International Association, while also ensuring that funds are available for current initiatives.
