A Great Mercy Day was Had by All in Dublin!
Editor: Mercy Day Celebrations yesterday at Baggot Street were just wonderful!
Fine weather and a warm welcome meant a full house of Sisters of Mercy and partners-in- Mercy gathered in the chapel for a joyful celebration of Eucharist, then in the International room for the launch of the new visually rich, technically advanced Mercyworld.org website, followed by a delicious ‘good cup of tea’ served in both the dining room and heritage area. Across the Mercy world, Sisters of Mercy and partners-in-Mercy gathered in communities and ministries to join in the events of the day via live-stream.
The gathering was truly an international one with representatives from almost all congregations and institutes present in person in Catherine's house. The Philippines congregation was remembered in a special way with the presence of an MIA Team member on a visit there.
The live-streams of both the Eucharist and the website launch are archived on the website for viewing by those who couldn’t be present, either in person or online, and for all who might like to watch these events again!
We hope you enjoy the visual record of the celebrations held in Dublin and shared in by those participating all across the Mercy world.
