An immersion experience for young people into the heart of the Mercy story

Mercy International Association (MIA) will host its Young Mercy Leaders Pilgrimage to Catherine McAuley's House of Mercy in Dublin from 28th to 31st July 2026. This year's gathering is open to Third Level/College Students from across the Mercy World. Large and small groups are welcome.
This year's programme has been prepared by Caroline Thompson, Head of Heritage and Spirituality with MIA. The programme will offer young people an amazing opportunity for an immersion into the heart of the Mercy story: Catherine McAuley’s world, her work and the house where it all began. Catherine’s House at 64a Lower Baggot Street, Dublin, holds the spiritual heart of the Mercy charism and participants will have time to explore the house and its history as well as enjoy quiet time in its sacred places: Catherine’s grave, Catherine’s room, the first mercy classroom and the beautiful chapel.
As well as workshops on Mercy Spirituality, Mercy Leadership and Mercy and Justice, there will be excursions to places of significance in the Mercy story: Coolock House, a walk in Catherine’s footsteps around Dublin and the sanctuary of Glendalough, keynotes from Mercy leaders and the opportunity to meet Sisters who still work for justice in Ireland.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to make a pilgrimage to the birthplace of the Mercy enterprise while making lifelong friends from around the world.
Pilgrimage Cost for 2026
The cost of the pilgrimage programme for 2026 will be €295 per person - please note that this is an early bird booking offer which will expire on 28th February 2026. [This cost does not include flights or accommodation.]

La Asociación Internacional de Misericordia (MIA) organizará su Peregrinación de Jóvenes Líderes de Misericordia a la Casa de la Misericordia de Catherine McAuley en Dublín del 28 al 31 de julio de 2026.
El encuentro de este año está abierto a estudiantes de educación superior/universitarios de todo el mundo de la Misericordia. Se aceptan tanto grupos grandes como pequeños.
El programa de este año ha sido preparado por Caroline Thompson, Responsable de Patrimonio y Espiritualidad de MIA. El programa ofrecerá a los jóvenes una oportunidad extraordinaria de inmersión en el corazón de la historia de la Misericordia: el mundo de Catherine McAuley, su obra y la casa donde todo comenzó.
La Casa de Catherine, situada en 64a Lower Baggot Street, Dublín, alberga el corazón espiritual del carisma de la Misericordia, y los participantes tendrán tiempo para explorar la casa y su historia, así como para disfrutar de momentos de silencio en sus espacios sagrados: la tumba de Catherine, su habitación, la primera aula de misericordia y la hermosa capilla.
Además de talleres sobre Espiritualidad de la Misericordia, Liderazgo de la Misericordia y Misericordia y Justicia, habrá excursiones a lugares significativos en la historia de la Misericordia: Coolock House, un recorrido siguiendo los pasos de Catherine por Dublín y el santuario de Glendalough. El programa también incluirá ponencias de líderes de la Misericordia y la oportunidad de conocer a Hermanas que continúan trabajando por la justicia en Irlanda.
Esta es una oportunidad única en la vida para realizar una peregrinación al lugar de nacimiento de la obra de la Misericordia, al tiempo que se crean amistades para toda la vida con personas de todo el mundo.
