Edition No. 677  |  29 June 2016
Featured Story

Editor: Stage Three of the Mercy International Reflection Process (MIRP) asks us to explore the focus issues raised in our groups in response to the theme: 'The Cry of the Earth and the Cry of the Poor', in light of biblical, theological, spiritual, ecclesial and mercy tradition - an opportunity to engage with our tradition anew

To assist us in this exploration and engagement, a number of scholars and other experts were invited to share their knowledge and insights with us through video interviews.

Anne Walsh (Communications Director MIRP) and Adele Howard rsm (MIRP Coordinator ISMAPNG) were asked by the MIRP Guiding Team to undertake this major project which they have worked on intensively over the past few months with the assistance of a small team.

This week's issue of Mercy eNews is devoted to this VOICES project which has its own microsite to provide ease of access to the video resources.

Further details of the VOICES project, how the microsite is structured and how to use the videos to advantage, can all be found on the microsite.

We invite you, over the coming weeks, to explore the microsite materials and to discover the depth and richness in the videos.

We look forward to hearing from you in due course as to how you use the short clips and/or complete interviews with your MIRP group, in other gatherings and for your personal enrichment in this Year of Mercy.

Messages to:
Mary Reynolds rsm - Executive Director MIA
Elaine Wainwright rsm, Helen Diviney rsm, Anne Walsh - MIRP Guiding Team
