Circle Report from Newfoundland
We, a reflection circle of Sisters of Mercy, NL, express our deep gratitude for the incredibly rich and diverse reflections on Cosmology. We are delighted!
Our musings:
A new cosmological narrative with “Cosmos meaning all creation, the entire universe, every dimension of time and space (spiritual and material)” is one of “a global heartbeat” in “kinship as a planetary community”. In uniqueness, we are “aligned” /”in harmony”/ “in wonder”/”delight”/”bending low…play-ful” as “one with the heartbeat of God”…

Integrating MGP with Ongoing Activities
At the "Earthkin " gathering on Saturday October 19, in Parramatta, we shared the artistic presentation of "Cosmos/Cosmology" prepared by Maree Hutchinson.
The 50 participants appreciated the wonderful photography Maree arranged so artistically to remind us of the universe story and the wonderful Earth of which we are part.

MIA Prayer Intention: All Saints and All Souls
Let us remember in our prayers ’all who have gone before us, marked with the sign of faith’ (EP 11), the holy women and men of every age, celebrated and unknown, and the members of our own families and communities who have gone to their eternal rest.
May all who mourn be comforted in the knowledge that those who are dear to them ‘rest in the sleep of peace’ (EP 1).
Post your prayer at Catherine’s grave.

The Bottom Line
‘The cry of the poor, together with that of the earth, has reached us from the Amazon. After these three weeks, we cannot pretend we haven’t heard it. The voices of the poor, together with those of so many others within and without the Synodal Assembly — Pastors, young people, scientists — spur us not to remain indifferent. We heard often the phrase “later is too late”: it cannot remain a slogan.’
