Expressions of Interest Now Open for New Mercy Global Action Justice-Based Task Forces
An exciting opportunity exists to join one of two newly-established MGA task forces to commence in August 2021. Each of the task forces is directly linked to Mercy Global Action’s priority themes of Migration and Water/Climate Change.
The task forces are issue-based, time-limited and have an action–oriented focus. Comprising twelve members, including the MGA team, the task forces will draw upon the experience, expertise and aspirations of its members in relation to either migration or water/climate change. Mercy Global Action is specifically seeking members from the Mercy World who:
- Are energetic and enthusiastic about migration and/or water/climate change
- Have direct knowledge and/or experience in either of the priority issues
- Willing to develop and exchange ideas, advocate and enact change
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
Selection will be based on a range of perspectives, including different knowledge and experience levels, geographic locations, cultural background and other lived experiences.
