As we do each year, we have compiled a list of new- for- Advent free online resources for your reading, listening, viewing, praying and reflection.

Advent 2019: In Praise of Light - Terri Mackenzie SHCJ,  Ecospirituality Resources

This four-session resource helps participants deepen their appreciation of the awesome gifts of L/light and energy, starting from light’s beginning and continuing into this season devoted to anticipating the Light of the World. Sunday Scripture excerpts are explored as well as Scripture quotes about Light. Groups consider

Advent 2019: A Companion: Anglican Church of Canada

Sign-up for a daily email in Advent with meditations from Archbishop Melissa Skelton and spiritual directors in the diocese of New Westminster.

Each day will include a selected image, hymn, or poem that evokes the actions of Advent: waiting, longing, anticipating, expecting, and preparing. The art is a means for awakening our imaginations to renew our journey through Advent once more.

The Archbishop of York Youth Trust has produced a powerpoint (including audio) 'Voices of Advent' which challenges young leaders to reflect on four characters from the Christmas Story and how they can inspire us to reach out to others this Advent.
