Human Rights Day: 10 December
10 December marks the 70th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
This video tells the story of the adoption of these rights and the significance of this, the world’s most translated document. Among the voices we hear are those of Eleanor Roosevelt (Americas), Member of the Drafting Committee, and H.V. Evatt (Australia), then President of the General Assembly.
Additional information, resources and suggested actions can be found on the anniversary website.
