Mercy Communicators gather in Melbourne for workshop (MIA)

This week Mercy sisters from six Mercy Congregations/Institutes are together at Fraynework in Melbourne for an intensive workshop on Mercy communications led by Adele Howard rsm and staff. They were welcomed to Australia by Nerida Tinkler rsm, President of the Institute of Sisters of Mercy Australia and MIA Member.

Nerida spoke to the group of the central role Communications has in the life of Mercy International Association and how the presence of these Mercy representatives at this workshop was "a tangible presence" in Australia of Mercy International.

During the course of the week, participants are learning practical skills and forming a network of Mercy communicators who will take particular responsibility for assisting members of their Congregations/Institutes to take ownership of in order that the vision and activities of Mercy International Association be made manifest in new ways and in new places.
