Jubilee Blessing
In joy and gratitude we celebrate this day with you.
May your time of Jubilee ring through the earth in notes of faith, in words of hope, in a song of love. Marie Louise, Anna, Bernie, Cáit, Helena.
Greetings and blessings to all our Sisters in Mercy from all the Federation Sisters
Mercy
May you meet mercy each day:
in the light of your own heart,
at the hands of your loved ones,
in the eyes of the stranger.
And if by chance you do not at first meet it,
then search your heart for it,
listen patiently for word of it,
and it will tap you on the shoulder,
a quiet surprise,
a small gesture
the tender look
given and received
in the encounters of your day

This Mercy Day we pray~
God of Mercy
you graced Mary to be
Woman and Mother of Mercy.
Jesus, your Son, learned from her
tender-hearted compassion
and the practice of mercy.
Following her example
may we seek ways to live courageously
the call of the Gospel
in the reality of our world by~
~ensuring that the dignity of people, especially the poor, displaced and vulnerable, is respected
~supporting people who are suffering violence, abuse, disadvantage and exclusion
~engaging in respectful care of Earth and the sustainable use of her resources ,br> for it is in every word, with every gesture, by every creation, through every means that the living gospel of mercy is life for the world.
Be life!
Mercy Day blessings!

Change one thing ~ Change everything! This butterfly effect is visible in the life of this building we call the wellspring of Mercy. One hundred ninety-two years ago, the Centre was built, and God’s mercy found yet another way to enter our world. Twenty-five years ago, the Centre was renovated – Catherine’s way of mercy sown around the world knew the time had come to gather again. Three years ago, in this house, Mercy Global Presence became yet another way to name mercy in a world endangered by exclusion, degradation and displacement. One year ago, from this house, MIA’s new Vision Statement called Sisters, associates, colleagues and partners in Mercy to imagine Mercy Global Presence as a creative energy in the globalization of compassion for Earth and all created beings. These ordinary moments of building and renovating a house have been changing everything. In our congregations and institutes, in our ministries and places of community, and in our personal lives, the ordinary decisions we make every day are changing everything. The Scriptures remind us that this is indeed God’s way, “The steadfast love of our God never ceases; God’s mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning” (Lam 3:22-23).
On this Mercy Day, we rejoice that we belong to this way of Mercy in a time of awareness that all is connected – everything any one of us does makes a difference. God’s message brought by a butterfly is precious indeed!
¡Feliz día de la misericordia! Happy Mercy Day! Sisters Elizabeth, Diane, Betty and Eileen for All our Sisters in Canada and in Peru
May the blessing of Mercy unity and interconnectedness continue
to call us forth to serve our suffering world.
May the God of Mercy, Wisdom and Mystery accompany us with an
ever-evolving consciousness and lead us fully to answer the call of Jesus
“that all may be one”.
May we continue to hold one another in prayer as we serve God’s people
who suffer the systemic injustices of racism, anti-immigration,
degradation of earth, poverty and violence.
May we be the voice and presence of MERCY and address the root causes of injustice
wherever we find ourselves in ministry and echo the voice of Catherine
“the poor need help today”
necesitan ayuda hoy!»
¡Feliz Día de la Misericordia!
