Mercy Echoes is the official podcast of Mercy International Association (MIA), presented by Brenda Drumm, MIA Head of Communications.
MIA is an organisation of the leaders of Mercy Congregations, Institutes and Federations throughout the world, founded to serve the Sisters of Mercy, their associates and partners in ministry.
The purpose of this Association is to inspire Sisters of Mercy and their Associates to incarnate the spirit o Catherine McAuley in ways which are creative and appropriate to the needs of our time and to foster unity of mind and heart among Sisters of Mercy worldwide.

Our guest for our fourth episode is Sr Denis Fox rsm, Congregation Leader of Ngā Whaea Atawhai o Aotearoa Sisters of Mercy New Zealand.
Born in New Zealand Denise spent her early years ineducation ministry, and more recently has been involved in ministry governance and Congregation Leadership.
Denise spoke to Brenda about her life and ministry and shared some of her memories of when she realised she had a vocation.
Denise also shared the story of Mercy in New Zealand as 2025 marks the 175th anniversary of the arrival of the first Sisters of Mercy.
She went on to reflect on Mercy in New Zealand today and how it is vibrant, strong and based on the commitment of a wide group of lay people who are captured by the vision of Catherine McAuley.
