Resources for the Season of Advent (Year C)

As we do each year, we have compiled a list of new- for- Advent free online resources for your reading, listening, viewing, praying and reflection.

We will continue to add to this list and welcome your suggestions of worthwhile additions.

The Archbishop of Melbourne's Office for Evangelisation has prepared 'The Grace of Waiting' series of Reflections focussed on the Sunday Gospel.

Catholic Health USA has produced a series of Advent Reflections, one for each week of Advent. These are available in three formats: hard copy, audio and video.

The USA Interfaith Immigration Coalition's Holy Days and Holidays committee has developed an eight part Advent and Epiphany Devotional Journey.

The series offers different reflections, stories, actions and resources for use at vigils in support of refugees and immigrants over the eight week season.

Jesuits in Britain have released the Introduction and Session One of their Advent Retreat for 2018 in collaboration with Sacred Space. Named, 'Dwelling with God', the 5 sessions will look at the prologue to John's Gospel and the different ways that God draws near to us.  

We will continue to add the sessions as they are released.
