Urgent Request for Assistance from the US-Mexico Border

Editor: The daily influx of migrants at Laredo, Texas has meant supplies of food, clothing, shoes, shoe laces, belts, diapers (nappies) at Catholic Charities Laredo have been depleted.
The Sisters of Mercy of the Americas has passed on the appeal for assistance to their Mercy communities. We are making the appeal known to Mercy communities internationally through Mercy eNews and on our website here.
Donations of much needed goods can ordered & paid for online from Amazon, Wal-mart etc and sent to La Frontera Shelter in Laredo.
