World AIDS Day at the Mater Hospital Nairobi, Kenya
Editor: World AIDS Day is held on 1 December each year. It raises awareness across the world and in the community about the issues surrounding HIV and AIDS. It is a day for people to show their support for people living with HIV and to commemorate people who have died. This year marks 30 years since this day was first declared. This year's theme is: 'Know your status'.
The following message has been received:
As we send out our World AIDS Day photographs from Mater Misericordiae Hospital Nairobi, we send out the message to encourage all people to know their HIV status and be enabled to access life saving care.
With best wishes,
Sr. Brigid Marnane
