Each day around the world there are prayers offered through the intercession of Venerable Catherine McAuley.
These prayer petitions come to us too here in Mercy International Association. People write their prayer petitions in our book attached to the chapel in Mercy International Centre in Baggot Street.
People also offer prayer petitions in our Oratory which is based to the side of the main red doors of 64a Lower Baggot Street, its door open to the busy bustling life on Baggot Street.
Our Online Prayer Space
People also make prayer petitions using our website where there are three distinct areas to make a petition:
All of the prayers that we receive are prayed for weekly here in the chapel of Mercy International Centre.

Prayer as part of the Path to Catherine's Canonisation
Did you know that all of the hundreds of thousands of prayers being offered through the intercession of Catherine, are an important part of the process towards her canonisation? After all, one of the requirements to be named a saint is that someone's prayer was answered based on that individual's intercession in heaven.
That is why we encourage and invite people to pray through the intercession of Catherine McAuley. In fact, one of the most common prayer requests that we receive is for healing and for comfort.
Speaking about prayer, Catherine herself said:
‘Prayer is a plant, the seed of which is sown in the heart of every Christian, but its growth entirely depends on the care we take to nourish it.’ (Retreat Instructions page 90).
So, if you would like to make a prayer petition we invite you to do so in person or using our Prayer Centre here on the website.
